This is a very beautiful temple paid for by a pastor in Brazil who is a billionaire. It is very inspiring to learn that Edir Macedo is a businessman and owner of his own broadcast network. How many pastors can we count on one hand who does not own his or her wealth outside of their ministry? Therefore, yes, God wants us to be wealth, but without stealing from tithes and offerings.
According to ChristianPost.com, Macedo was listed on FORBES' billionaires ranking in 2013, with a net worth estimated at $1.3 billion, making him the richest church leader in Brazil. In the past, he has been accused of criminal activity including money laundering and using church funds for his own business ventures.
Wow! This is how God wants his House to look. In our opinion, the average pastor of a mega-church would build a more beautiful one, if they earned their profits as an entrepreneur like Macedo. This is when God does not mind a man or woman of God being prosperous, because he or she worked for it. However, we certainly hope he shares his riches with the poor and needy. God bless and thanks for reading SCR.
