No doubt, Jesus Christ would not have said it the way Prophet Carter spoke in is sermon, but the main thing is, a soul was saved, delivered and set free. If we have bishops backing down just because a group of people don't like what is being said, then the church will began to weaken the laws of earth and not the Kingdom of God. Therefore, the real core of this issue is to either accept homosexuality as right or wrong and according to God's Word we are informed it is wrong. However, a lot of times, the way certain ministers may deliver the gospel may cause a lot of people to go astray and never return and this has been the flaw of the black church for many years. As a result, we have many black people refusing to leave homosexuality alone, because of the cruel treatment from behind the pulpit and even in the pews. People get offended and think those who are supposed to be like Jesus Christ are representing our Savior as a hateful Spirit and He's not. Jesus full of love and compassion. All Jesus said in His Word is to go and sin no more (John 8:11; which is for any type of sin, not just adultery), He never wished a man would go through a bloody period out of his... in order to get him to turn away from sin.
According to BlackChristianNews.com, Dr. Earl Carter Response to Bishop Charles Blake's apology for the strong words in his sermon reveals he rejected God's Word. Let us keep both men of God in prayer, because this is what Satan wants, division.
