Legendary Gospel Artist, Pastor Andrae Crouch Passes Away at 72

Legendary gospel artist, Pastor Andrae Crouch has went home to be with God.   As many of you know, he had been sick and his twin sister, Sandra was asking for everyone to pray and have faith.  However, God knows best.  According to christiantoday.com, the 7-times Grammy Award winner died at around 4:30pm on Thursday at Northridge Hospital Medical Center in the Los Angeles area. Some Christians Are Upset With Bishop Jakes For Addressing The Racial Divide In America!

According to our source, there were some hateful comments on Facebook, regarding Bishop T. D. Jakes addressing the racial divide in America.  This is possibly because he has been known to allegedly cater to a lot of whites in his congregation and also possibly to some of those whites who support his ministry, in general.  Usually, Bishop T. D. Jakes has been known to focus on multiculturalism.  However, we agree a change must come, in order to turn things around in America when it comes to racism and that could mean some famous black pastors of mega churches finally addressing the issue.

Atlanta Fire Chief Allegedly Says He was fired because of my Christian faith

One thing, we would like for Christian African Americans to realize is that we are living in an era when you are not going to be mistreated just because you are black, but also because of your Christian morals.   There are some unsaved black people who will help white gays to persecute you and make sure you endure hardships, which may cost you your job or education.  In this case of Kelvin Cochran, he lost his job as a fire chief in Atlanta for expressing his opinions about homosexuality in his book he wrote for a men’s Bible study group at his Baptist church.  According to FoxNews.com, Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed announced Tuesday that Cochran had been fired. The announcement came on the same day Cochran was supposed to return to work following a 30-day suspension.   In the meantime, we will keep Kelvin Cochran in our prayers.  Furthermore, there are a lot of blacks who are going to burn in hell for going against God's Word.

Celebrity News: Phylicia Rashad Says She Was Misquoted During Cosby Defense

In her own words Phylicia Rashad is responding to critics who read the article by Showbiz 411.  According to MSN.com, she replied: "That is not what I said. What I said is, 'This is not about the women. This is about something else. This is about the obliteration of a legacy,'" she said. "I am a woman. I am a woman. I would never say such a thing." 

According to MSN.com, late Wednesday night, Showbiz 411 editor Roger Friedman, who published the first interview with Rashad, wrote a post clarifying what was said in the exchange.

Let me clear something. I did not misquote Phylicia Rashad. But she didn’t mean for it to be taken the way it was, and I should have punctuated. There was NEVER the meaning in ‘Forget those women’ that she was saying to actually forget or dismiss then. She meant, 'those women aside' -– as in, she’s not talking about that, she’s talking about Cosby’s legacy being destroyed. It was conversational. Somehow this got twisted. I am really sorry if the way I presented it made it seem like either one of us was forgetting anyone.

Friedman said he was editing the original post to remove Rashad's comment, "because it was misunderstood, and not for any other reason."For Rashad's full interview, head over to ABC News. 

Our response, we still believe this could be a conspiracy against Mr. Bill Cosby, because he is a successful black man in an era when quite a few black men are getting killed by some cops in America.

Celebrity News: Phylicia Rashad defends TV husband Bill Cosby: ‘Forget these women’

Finally, we are hearing something about Bill Cosby being accused by these women from his TV wife, inspiring actress, Phylicia Rashad.  Yes, we agree with her, 'forget these women', because it does seem like a plot, in our opinion.  After all these years, how is it that these (mostly white) female accusers are coming out around the same time? Like we said before, the man was in the hospital not too long ago and we believe if he should pass away, they may allegedly yearn to have his assets, which will no doubt go to Mrs. Camille Cosby.  Just because these women are females does not mean they are telling the truth.  Just look at how these accusations have came out, after some black men are getting killed by police officers in this country.  Now, usually we don't like to touch on racism, because many black people have not done right by God nor themselves, but-we must be very honest with you, in our honest opinion, it seems like this is nothing but a conspiracy to get Mr. Cosby's money and to destroy him as a black man.  According to NYDailyNews.com, Rashad told Showbiz 411, "Forget these women,"  "What you're seeing is the destruction of a legacy. And I think it's orchestrated. I don't know why or who's doing it, but it's the legacy. And it's a legacy that is so important to the culture."

Rev. Al Sharpton Continues to Protests after Slain Cops are Laid to Rest

Rev. Al Sharpton is letting those who oppose his movement that it's not over.  Therefore, Sharpton's protests continues on after the two slain NY cops are laid to rest. The message to stop killing black men is going to be a reminder across this country.  According to NYPost.com, the head of the Staten Island chapter of Sharpton’s National Action Network said anti-cop protesters would return to the borough’s state courthouse on Tuesday.  In the meantime, we will keep Rev. Al Sharpton and those who protests behind him in our prayers.

Hollywood News: Daughter of Zsa Zsa Gabor dies in Los Angeles

A daughter of a legendary Hollywood movie star has just passed away.  Francesca Hilton passed away last night.  According to AP/MSN.com, Francesca Hilton, the daughter of actress Zsa Zsa Gabor and Hilton Hotel founder Conrad Hilton, has died in Los Angeles at age 67.
Publicist Edward Lozzi says Francesca Hilton was pronounced dead Monday night at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after an apparent heart attack and stroke.  May Francesca Hilton rest in peace and we pray God be with her family.

Clergy and Police in Nashville Join Forces to Form Relationships, Build Trust and Stop Violence

Ministers in Nashville have made a commitment with the police force to help stop the violence.  This sort of association is needed all over America and this may no doubt help decrease crime.  According to BlackChristianNews.com, police and the ministers say they were able to quickly tap into relationships formed over regular meetings. Allegedly, Pastor Perry Noble Said 'N' Word and Laughed

As segregation seems to be coming back in this country, this pastor allegedly said the 'N' word while on stage; we can't say pulpit, things are so modern in the church, these days.  Anyway, we are now back in time when this country was divided, because of all tragedies lately, that involved police killing black men.   Therefore, it does not surprise us that Pastor Perry Noble allegedly said the 'N' word and had the nerve to laugh about it.  Usually, the way some white people carry on in the privacy in their homes with their families will eventually come out in public.

Celebrity News: Deion Sanders' Prime Prep Academy Allegedly May Shut Down This Month

This could be the end for Prime Prep Academy, a charter school co-founded by Deion Sanders.  Of course, we do not know all the facts, but there have been some serious allegations against some of the top officials there, allegedly. This month the school could shut down for good.  According to EewMagazine.com, Prime Prep could not prove that it had used money for a school lunch program to serve meals to students.  A local district attorney is currently investigating.  In the meantime, we will keep Deion Sanders in our prayers.  Thanks for reading SCR and God bless you.

Atheists Demand Troy University Apologize for Saying Belief in God Is Essential for Democracy to Work

There seems to be a demon of slavery when it comes to Atheists trying to destroy the freedom of Christians to serve God.   This time, some atheists are demanding for the school officials to apologize for sending a message to students that belief in God is necessary for democracy to work.  There is always a group of atheists that are always out to stop the work of Jesus Christ, but we as Christians must plead the blood against them, which will make them powerless.

According to ChristianPost.com, a national atheist organization is demanding that the chancellor of Troy University in Alabama apologize for sending a 98-second video to students that says Democracy works in America not because of government enforcement or because people believe they're accountable to society, but because they know they're "accountable to God."

In the meantime, let us love and unite while praying against any demonic force that is trying to take away the rights of Christians to speak the truth about our religious beliefs.

KKK billboard says, 'It's not racist' May Prove America Was Never a Christian Nation

Of course, this billboard is very painful for us black Christians to see; however, it's even more painful to acknowledge that our people are yet divided and hate being black.   We live in a very twisted era that not only reveals that there are yet a lot of blacks who hate each other as we are now moving toward segregation in America, but-billboard by the KKK reveals that America may not have ever been a Christian nation to begin with.   The fact that this nation had started with slave-masters dragging Africans off a slave ship and forced them to adopt European ways reminds us that those who were so proud of their white skin also claimed to be Christians.  The ones who put up this billboard may think they are more loved by God because they are white, not so.  Just because there are many blacks who resent who God created them to be, it doesn't give racists whites to flaunt their pride.

On TBN, Jan Crouch allegedly always brags that this country was built on our founding fathers who were Christians.  Really Jan? Then where did the KKK come from and why are they still here?

Woman hit by bullet during New Year's Eve church service

Praise God, God is so good, this woman could have been dead, after a bullet hit her during watch night service, but Tonia Barnes was able to walk out of the hospital.  You know every time, something disappoints us in life, we ought to think about how many times, we could not be here.   We know, Tonia Barnes will forever share her testimony, because she knows God is amazing.  According to WAPT.com, the Rev. Enoch Easter said Tonia Barnes was standing near dozens of children just after Thursday's service at Macedonia Ministries, when the bullet struck her.  We are rejoicing with Tonia Barnes and pray many souls are saved through her testimony.  Thanks for reading SCR and God bless you.

It's always nice to have positive news about the NFL, lately, for it seems as though Michael Sam has dominated the organization with his sexuality, allegedly.  This time, we share good news about 7 NFL players who are spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ by giving away 500 Bibles.  According to ChristianToday.com, Don Carey and Andre Fluellen of the Detroit Lions, Ryan Lindley of the Arizona Cardinals, Kawann Short of the Carolina Panthers, Kevin Pamphile and Alterraun Verner of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Reggie Walker of the San Diego Chargers hosted the 2014 Holiday Bible Giveaway.  We know God is going to bless these football players, because a lot of times, NFL players focus on making points, but these Christian souls obviously know they score more points with God, the more souls they win for Him.
